In Loving Memory of Trent Dean: A Baseball Enthusiast and Devoted Volunteer
It is with heavy hearts that we remember and honor the life of Trent Dean, a true baseball enthusiast, dedicated coach, and passionate community leader. Trent's impact on Lakeshore Baseball Association (LBA) and the wider baseball community will forever be cherished and celebrated.
Trent served as a baseball coach with LBA for six seasons, mentoring young athletes and instilling in them a love for the game that he held so dear. His commitment to nurturing talent and promoting the values of teamwork and sportsmanship left an indelible mark on the players he coached.
In addition to his coaching role, Trent Dean served as the President of LBA for an impressive five years. During his tenure, he worked tirelessly to strengthen the organization, ensuring that baseball remained a vibrant and integral part of the community. His leadership and vision helped Lakeshore Baseball thrive, and his legacy will continue to inspire others to carry on his work.
One of Trent's greatest passions was organizing Lakeshore Baseball Association’s Midget A tournament, an event that brings joy to countless baseball enthusiasts each year. In honor of his memory and the dedication he poured into this tournament, LBA will rename the tournament as "The Trent Dean Midget A Invitational." This gesture serves as a fitting tribute to a man who dedicated himself to promoting the sport and fostering camaraderie among players.
The Lakeshore Baseball Association board of directors and the entire membership of LBA are deeply saddened by Trent’s passing. His absence will leave a void in our hearts and the broader baseball community. We will forever cherish the memories of his enthusiasm, warm spirit, and unwavering commitment to the game.
Our thoughts and prayers go out to Trent's family during this incredibly challenging time. May they find comfort in knowing that his legacy lives on in the hearts of all those he touched and may his love for baseball continue to inspire generations to come. Trent will be dearly missed and his impact will be felt for years to come.
